Who we are.
Villager Homes is an independent estate and letting agent based in Brampton, Cambridgeshire. Company number 08965831. You can reach us at hello@villagerhomes.co.uk or 01480 436161. For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller.
What we collect, and why.
- Enquiry details (name, email, phone, message) when you fill in a contact, valuation, or property enquiry form. We use this to respond to you and to send your enquiry to our internal CRM. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to your request.
- Saved properties are stored in your own browser. We don't see them or send them anywhere.
- Site usage data (pages viewed, properties opened, forms submitted) is collected via Meta Pixel and Google Analytics when you've accepted cookies. We use this to understand which properties are getting interest and to show you our adverts on Meta and Google.
Cookies.
We split cookies into two buckets:
- Strictly necessary. These keep the site working, such as remembering your saved properties and your cookie choice itself. They're set without consent because the site can't function without them.
- Analytics and advertising. Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. These help us understand the site and show you relevant adverts on Meta and Google. They only load if you click Accept on the banner.
You can change your mind any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Who we share data with.
- Street.co.uk hosts our property feed and customer relationship management system. Enquiries you send through this site are forwarded into Street so our team can act on them.
- Meta and Google receive site usage events when you've accepted cookies, so we can show you relevant adverts.
- Vercel hosts the website and processes routine server logs.
Your rights.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what data we hold on you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these, email hello@villagerhomes.co.uk.
